When it comes to my household, the fried chicken burger is a staple and the most loved dish. Like many other dishes, burgers are highly customizable as well. From the buns to the patty to the fillings and sauces, people can get creative with them. At home, customizing burgers is considered a playtime for my kids as they love the process and enjoy devouring them.

A breaded and deep-fried chicken patty is the main component of the famous fast food dish known as the “fried chicken burger,” which is often served on a bun with a variety of toppings and sauces. Fried chicken burgers frequently come with toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayonnaise and are distinguished by their crispy, golden-brown outside and tasty, moist, succulent interior.

The fried chicken burger has numerous varieties, with each eatery or chef giving the food its own special touch. Using various breadings, such as panko or cornmeal, or incorporating spices and herbs into the chicken mixture are a few possibilities. The spicy or buffalo-style fried chicken burgers, which are cooked with spicy breading or served with hot sauce, are another alternative that certain establishments provide. But I usually prefer the original as we can discover each of the flavors distinctly.

You’ll need a few staple ingredients to prepare a fried chicken burger at home, including chicken breasts, flour, eggs, breadcrumbs, and frying oil. To drain off extra oil, take the fried chicken out of the pan and place it on a paper towel. Prepare the brioche buns by lightly toasting with butter if preferred and adding any toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise, and ketchup while the crispy chicken is draining.

After the chicken has been drained, put it on the bun and add the toppings of your choice. While the crispy chicken burger is still hot and crispy, serve it right away.

Try baking the chicken instead of frying it or use a thinner breading combination, such as panko or cornmeal, to create a healthier version of the dish. Use low-fat or non-dairy condiments like hummus or avocado spread, as well as healthier toppings like lettuce, tomato, and avocado.
